SERVICES

IRead For Life is a resource program. It uses a holistic approach to learning with a nurturing touch. Our aim is to create a fun, creative and loving environment for learning. This approach to reading has been continuously developed since 1986, to what we use at the IRead For Life Center, today.  We incorporate playful moments with costumes and accessories and use learning games. Since the advent of Covid-19, we have transitioned to include distance learning into our program. While in person learning is still our preferred approach, when necessary or appropriate for a student we are able to effectively use distance learning via Zoom.

Speech Sounds Associated with the Letter Symbol

When a child is struggling to read, it can lead to other problems like low self-esteem and withdrawal. That is why we believe in a holistic approach to learning. If a child loves to draw, model, sing, cook, build, or whatever it may be, we believe that particular interest should be harvested and used

to motivate, build trust, increase self-confidence, and open the door to learning. Parents often report seeing a positive change in their child within weeks of beginning the IRead For Life program.

We offer our services to students from age 3 to young adults. All sessions are full of life, fun, and games. Therefore, the children enjoy learning.  This is the key to improving your child's reading and math skills!

Enrollment Process

Each child is unique and progresses differently. We take the time to see where your child is so we can customize their learning experience.

  • What is IRead For Life?
The IRead For Life program is an evolved method to develop reading, writing and math skills. The reading program is phonetics based and therefore emphasizes the speech sounds that letters represent. Unlike other programs, it is not delivered in a piecemeal manner. All the symbols needed for reading are presented from the start. Reading is a vital link to math for problem solving, comprehension and vocabulary. The personal touch produces a positive and successful result.
